Welcome to the Copper State Advocates Council (CSAC)

Building on the tremendous success and momentum of the Congressional Copper Caucus, the Copper Development Association (CDA) has established the Copper State Advocates Council, or CSAC, to extend engagement beyond Capitol Hill and strengthen the voice for copper at the state and local level.

CSAC is a non-partisan network bringing together individuals, government officials, academic and nonprofit organizations, and companies who recognize copper’s importance to America’s economy, infrastructure and communities.

The Council creates a platform for people across and beyond the copper industry to stay informed, engage on issues that matter and support practical policies that help maintain a strong domestic copper value chain. Together, CSAC members stand with CDA in advancing greater understanding of copper’s contribution and ensuring that the industry has a meaningful voice in the decisions shaping America’s future.

COPPER SUPPORTS AMERICA. ADD YOUR VOICE TO ITS FUTURE.

Copper is part of the infrastructure, industries and technologies that keep America moving.

It delivers power to homes and businesses. It supports safe, reliable water systems. It connects communities, enables advanced manufacturing, and strengthens national security and the systems the U.S. economy depends on.

Its impact extends far beyond the material itself.

From jobs and manufacturing to infrastructure investment and public services, the copper industry creates value in communities across the country. Visit the Economic Impact page to see the impact copper has on your state and local region

But maintaining a strong, secure and competitive domestic copper industry requires more than awareness. It requires informed support and the collective voice of the people, businesses and communities that depend on it.

That is where the Copper State Advocates Council and you come in.
